Jill Bergantz Carley makes her home in Calaveras County, California, where lives a half mile from the stoplight in a sweet town five blocks long. A Pushcart Prize nominee, her poetry has appeared in or is forthcoming from OPOSSUM, ENTROPY, Silver Needle, Collective Unrest, The Hellebore, and elsewhere. Her poem, 'Stereoscope: Pioneer Cabin Tree,' won the RAR 2018 Walt Whitman Prize; she was recently named as a semi-finalist for The Hellebore Scholarship. Her conceptual textile sculpture has been shown in the bG Gallery, CTRL Collective, the deYoung Museum, and has appeared in ARTWEEK. Her day job in engineering keeps her out of trouble.
